About Us

     Selah Dance Ministries' mission is to share the gospel through the innovative means of the arts; to support others in the development of their gifts and talents; to assist them in reaching their potential; and to stress the importance of service to all mankind.  Selah was established in 1989 as a result of an original production staged at a local church by founder Katina M. Jennings.  Since that time, the community-based ensemble has performed for many special events such as the Federal Community’s Martin Luther King, Jr. observance programs, Juneteenth celebrations, Comin’ Home on Mt. Vernon Avenue, church programs, receptions and the Columbus Museum of Art, and more.
